Yesterday I had a Skillshare class with Cathy Erway who thought me how to make Chinese Dumplings from scratch.
Since I’m all about Dim-Sum on Sundays, I jumped on the opportunity to learn how to make my own dumplings at home. The method is surprisingly easy and even if you make the skins from scratch you won’t spend a lot of time in the kitchen. The most time consuming and slightly difficult part of the project is when you actually fold the dumplings because you have to fold the dough a couple times. But you get used to the procedure after a couple tries and will soon become a dumpling folding expert.
These yumminesses are perfect for parties or game nights, and, since you can freeze them, they are perfect late night snacks. We made traditional, vegetarian and cheeseburger fillings so I learned it doesn’t really matter what you fill the dumplings with until it’s something delicious.
