Nerdiest things I got from Amazon

The Coolest Pizza Cutter Ever!

Lately I’m unstoppable when it comes to shopping and spending money online. I had a theory: I believed that if you shop online you don’t spend that much money, because you won’t shop impulsively. Oh boy, was I wrong!

Since I’m an Amazon Prime member (for a month now) and get free 2 days shipping for all of my orders – I simply don’t order anything what would have a shipping&handling fee – I spent more money on Amazon than ever before combined. It’s brutal, right? Or is it?

I still think that everything I got lately was essential, and to make sure I’m listing the Top 3 items here:

3) Guillotine
This is a card game I first played during PAX East. I enjoyed the game so much I decided to get it. The point of the game is to execute nobles and collect the most points by the end of the 3rd day. It’s easy and fun, a must have for all card game lovers.

2) Citadells
Girlfriend found this game in a fantasy store and it was such a big success among us I decided to get it too. During the game you build districts. Your goal is to build the most valuable “city” while make others’ life miserable by your character’s special ability. If you’re the ‘Tax Collector’ you should make sure that you collect tax after every district but if you’re the ‘Assassin’ you can assassinate the ‘Tax Collector’ so he’ll miss his turn since he’s dead. Great game!

1) Think Geek Star Trek Enterprise Pizza Cutter
I know it sounds silly, but click on the link and check it out. Isn’t this the coolest thing you’ve ever seen? I first saw this pizza cutter in DC in the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum but there it was priced for $40 and I didn’t want to pay that much money. So when I got home I made a little search and found it for 50% off. Yay, I love deals!

What do you think? Was my shopping impulse shopping?
